I’m Carly. I’m a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist who works with both children and adults. I’m a huge advocate for self-development, mental health and equal access to opportunity.
I’m passionate about people and their health. In terms of health, I believe in a holistic approach, where good health is measured by both physical and emotional wellbeing. I’ve always been interested in the power of the mind and in the ability to help others and psychology seemed like a natural career for me.
Life is an unexpected path of twists and turns and it’s all about how we navigate our experiences. We can use our experiences to grow or they can overwhelm and consume us. We are here to help guide and support that journey for you and we really hope you will join us.

Hi, I’m Derek. I am a Clinical Psychology registrar who works with both children and adults. My approach to therapy is empathic, non-judgemental and collaborative, and I aim to create a space where clients feel validated and safe.
I support people across the lifespan with a variety of presentations, including depression, anxiety (generalised, social, specific phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, and trauma), and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.
To ensure clients receive interventions tailored to their individual needs, I draw on various evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and Mindfulness Based Therapies.

I’m Wendy. I’m a Clinical Psychology Registrar who works with children and adults. I am passionate about supporting individuals through a client-centred approach.
I believe that at any moment in life any one of us can find ourselves in a situation where we find that life’s challenges seem insurmountable, and we feel we can’t bend too much more before we break.
My passion as a psychologist is to support clients as together, we learn about their incredible capacity for hope and resilience. When buffeted by life’s difficulties, individuals can learn to be like a willow tree; that is that the harder the storm rages and the more that they bend, the stronger they will bounce back.
I think that when we have the skills to navigate life’s challenges as they arise, we are then able to truly enjoy all the wonderful moments this life has to offer us and live our lives to their fullest potential, and it is my passion as a psychologist to help clients achieve this goal.
I provide assessment and psychological treatment for a diverse range of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, loss and grief, using treatment modalities which including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. Previously, I have worked in mental health nursing and now after many years I have qualified as a psychologist and can bring a unique skill set to the individuals I work with.
I’m Lisa. I’m a provisional psychologist who works with children and adults. My passion is to create a welcoming and compassionate space where an individual’s unique challenges and strengths can be safely explored. I strongly believe that each person can find their way forward if they are supported and discover new tools to do so. After working in the academic field for many years, I have recently completed my Master of Professional Psychology as I believe that I can foster change on an individual level to benefit community wellbeing. I am completing my final internship with Stepforth Psychology.
Hi, I’m Lin. I’m the practice manager for Stepforth Psychology. I have had the privilege of working for 20 years in the medical fraternity in administration on the Sunshine Coast. I have graduated with a degree in Business and Frontline Management. I am very focused on helping people while fostering a caring and compassionate understanding for their individual needs and care.
During my time on the Sunshine Coast I have had the pleasure of spending time helping out and volunteering at the local P & C, Church Soccer programs and as a women’s auxiliary member for the R.S.L. All of which has given me the compassion and drive to enhance my skills and knowledge in understanding how important it is to ‘give’.
For me during down time I love nothing more than to be with my husband and family, cooking, gardening and doing the many crafting ideas that I do.
